jersey shore

So, it was my 30 something birthday. It was a gorgeous day out. What better way to enjoy it than go down the shore? We couldn't think of anything either. Seaside Heights, NJ has recently been put "on the map" so to speak due to the show "jersey shore". However, many of us can tell you we knew what Seaside was long before MTV decided to document what most of us called being from Jersey. We would spend summer days there, weekends after proms, nights on the boardwalk playing games and no matter what occasion... eating to much boardwalk food. There is nothing like it. I took a ton of photos this day but wanted to just share a few that give that "jersey shore" feel... enjoy.. and goodbye summer:(

I had the blessing of photographing a gorgeous 8 day old baby girl last week.... there is just something about a newborn that can melt your heart. As I told her very kind & very tired mom "I can photograph her all day"....There is something to me about the rolls, the wrinkled toes, the smell and the innocence that just gives a sense of peace. It made me sad that I knew I never got to do photos of my own son that new, after my c-section I was spent. I never blogged my birth story...maybe soon I will. But for now, here are a few of my favorites of "Eden" and I am so happy I was able to preserve this time for her family.
