keepin calm

If you are here you know Jac's story but you don't know mine.

It all started when I met Jac shortly moving here last March at a benefit for my brother in law after a motorcycle accident.
She was in awe at the love & support from people that came out. I made her drive me home that night (I'm so rude, Hi I'm Jo, you live close can you give me a ride.) Jac's too kind and of course said sure.
At said benefit I donated agift certificate for my photographic services Jac won.
We've talked about her session but just haven't had a chance to do it....yet.
Flash forward about a year and here we were doing family pictures just days after her first chemo session.
Her courage and positivity it just incredible to me.
This photo would be for the flyers for Jacs' benefit.
I was more then honored.

Here we were a month later.... at a benefit for Jac.

And I was the one in awe of the turn out.

I am not a mushy person, but I for sure held back a few tears Sunday.

(^stubborn? or just that good? I'm IN there!)

I freakin love this one.^

"I will survive"
Will always be one of my all time fave songs,
and couldn't be more fitting here.

just a few of the people who this couldn't have been done without.

there were sooo many generous donations,
so many raffled and silent auction prizes and
soooo many people showing nothing but love.

Jac & Red were so thankful

I still SMILE thinking about this moment...

I have never been happier for two people more then I was at that moment.
Talk about crying, I yelled at Red that he could've warned me. ;)
but somehow it went from love and hugs to a pie in the face...

it was auctioned off as since we all love Jackie and tolerate Red....

For me, maybe it's since I'm from Jersey I love them both the same.
Congratulations.
As you continue down this road together
I wish you continued love, support and strength.

oh & I saw this outside-
perfect.
