thirtyone...

Life takes some crazy twists and turns sometimes....
I try to believe everything happens for a reason....
life has thrown us some pretty hard balls to juggle.
In the midst of trying to "catch up" on my photography, my housework, my family, my life I take on a new adventure. It's what I do. I have a real bad habit of having "great ideas" and never thinking them through until I am half way started & stressed I realize, I did it again. I actually have a great friend who in college I would consult with before starting another photo project, hope you read this Tim :) ( seriously, I would be still photographing my project while everyone else was half way through printing & drying.)
SO off to my newest "great idea" I have become a "thirtyone gifts" consultant. I never knew this company existed until my sister told me to  look on the site so she can order me a new diaper bag (yes, be jealous. I do have the worlds best sister & no, you can't have her.)
I fell in love. I wanted to buy one of everything. . . . and there we have it. My newest idea that I hope helps me stay home with my lil man. Who, was just as into checking my kit out as I was :)

hhmmm I can fit all kinds of my stuff in this one mama.

I did post on facebook in conjunction with my new business venture "thirtyone gifts" I am offering a free photo session to the lucky person who becomes follower #31 on my blog....session only does not include photos or cd. Session must be in Morris County NJ prior to April 2011.

and a big thanks to everyone who has helped me thus far with my "thirtyone" business!!

holidays are a coming...

I have way to many blogs to catch up on... I really am unsure where November went and now it's DECEMBER??? sigh... I wanted to share this holiday photo session...

I love these boys... their parents have always been my biggest supporters of my work... a wall in there home could be a Jo Anne Cobb Photography museum :)
thank you for once again trusting me to capture another year of your children's lives...
I love you all xoxo

crunch, crunch.

November 2- (still playing catch up) went to let Shadow out before my baby got up.... heard the oddest sound.. sounded like rain although the sun was out... as I stepped further outside to observe I realized the first frost had come.

The leaves were still wet and on the trees so they were frozen and falling creating this noise.

It was mesmerizing. I ran in to grab my camera.... pictures do the sound no justice and sorry, I can't figure out how to upload video :)

fall fun

someday I will catch up on this... but until then... more fall fun

I just HAD to get that shirt! A Flannel onesie?
can it be any cuter??

it all happens so fast, one day your hanging pool side the next you are raking up leaves...

and putting on wool hats instead of bucket hats...

next Thursday is thanksgiving! isn't that crazy?

it's their first :)

can't wait to have a family holiday,
the four of us will have a good time.

We told him we were gonna puree some turkey for him.. ha ha.

Seems like more I try to keep up with my blog the more it gets away from me...
it is half way through the month & I already have over 300 photos in my November file,
maybe that explains how I can't keep up!

the f-ing zoos closed ray...

OK, so the zoo wasn't closed but for some reason anyone mentions the zoo and I think of Jerry Mcguire:)

All the way to the zoo I was super STOKED! I have memories of going there as a VERY young child & they are so vivid that it gave me goosebumps to be bringing my baby there...
granted, the chances of him remembering this trip are pretty slim....

                                                                 and speaking of babies...

it is always so captivating to watch how animals interact with one another... how mommas are so gentle with their babies...

and how even though they can't speak to one another even us on lookers can see the love.

this was by far the most amazing part of the day, this gorilla just stared

and my baby stared right back.

the sea lions are definetly a big part of my childhood memory of the zoo. I can still remember my golden colored shirt I was allowed to pick out with a sea lion on it. Every time I wore it my dad mimicked them.
I loved it and can remember trying to wear that shirt often.

he thought momma mimicking them was funny too :)

I could stay like that forever.
there really is too much to see in one day.
so much to take in.
the scenery is just as amazing.

I also have a memory of my late uncle charlie walking through the zoo with us.
I hope his spirit tagged along this trip too.

it's a long ride home,  at least someone got to take advantage of it :)
