daddys birthday....

It was Sunday.
Football day...Daddy's team being represented.

My happy baby...

Our nephew plays in a traveling soccer team... so there was where we ended up tailgating :)
It seems as though he wanted to be nice..

Or just push her around...I tried to explain that being mean to girls doesn't show them you like them.
This is Juliana Skye... she is adorable right?! Her big brother is our oldest nephew (the soccer player)and  her daddy is a blogger (& excellent writer) too check it out http://campbellonemillion.blogspot.com

Kaedyn loving on his big cousin Riley. She is a lover & a maniac, I love her too much.  Her birthday is the day after Kaedyns and I am wondering if his personality will reflect hers? sigh...

How cute is this? Big hug!!! They may be goofballs but the unconditional love is priceless..... Speaking of unconditional love...
brings us to daddy's birthday.... present.

Meet Shadow.

We adopted her from a foster home that was caring for her after rescuing her from a kill shelter. She was pregnant. They drove her to NJ from NC. I can only imagine the poor girls journey. She is underweight, and was in desperate need of a bath.

Kaedyn loves her, and the feeling is mutual.

She is around 2 years old. The vet can tell by her teeth. She started out real shy and quiet but by today is really opening up. She's so good with Kaedyn & really makes John happy. :) It is bittersweet to have a dog again.

Johns' birthday dinner is ALWAYS spaghetti & meatballs. Kaedyn helped this year. :)

As I cooked, Kaedyn & Shadow hung out... I think they were both hoping to sample!!

Yup! that is cream cheese with my dinner.
Some people think it's gross. I love it. I have been doing for as long as I can remember and recently Philadelphia cream cheese started a promotion showing to add it to spaghetti.... man, if I had submitted that as my idea...

After dinner walk.... see how happy daddy is?

The sky was amazing.

The clouds were moving so fast and revealing the most amazing colorful sky. I was only able to catch a few photos... after all, we had cupcakes waiting.

Happy Birthday John. You continue to be an amazing husband, father & friend.
I am lucky to have you.

so is she.

  1. Jo Anne, I enjoy all of your blogs and of course pictures but I will have to say I have enjoyed this one the most. Of course my great-nephew is a big part of the reason. But also seeing how happy John is with his baby and his new doggie, Shadow. All I can say is WOW. XO

  2. I'm not one to post comments to often, but I agree these pictures are extra special. Maybe because the people in them are so dear to me.
I wish all of you continued happiness you deserve it.
