San Gennaro

We had a busy day of firsts for my baby boy... first ferry into Manhattan, first time in NYC, first San Gennaro Feast and first bus ride. "It was a hot summer night and the beach was burning, there was fog crawling over the sand" Sorry I got carried away :) it was a hot autumn day and we were enjoying all that being so close to the greatest city in the world has to offer.

This is part, ok ALL of the reason I go into the feast every year. Terrone. It is an Italian nougat candy w almonds and it is sooo good. Yes, they have to break it apart with a knife & hammer but yummy!! It brings back so many memories of christmas' at my aunts or my mothers and I love, love, love it.  

So many choices, so many options....

It's hard being a baby in the big city :)

My boys. I love them more than explainable. Kaedyn got so smiles out of so many people. We just love it.

kind of ironic I just blogged about my birthday & the 9th anniversary and there I was documenting a piece of history. Leaves me speechless.  

Kaedyn LOVED the ferry ride back to Jersey!
